Why Open Source?
In an era where "free" apps often mean you are the product, we wanted to build something fundamentally different. By making canihavesex.today open source, we are making a promise of transparency.
You don't have to trust our marketing copy when we say we don't sell your data. Any developer can read the code, inspect the network traffic, and verify that the app does exactly what it says it does—and nothing else.
The Code
Both our mobile application and our backend infrastructure are fully open source. We build in the open so you can see exactly how the application works under the hood.

Self-Hosting
If you are technically inclined and want absolute control over your infrastructure, you don't even have to use our hosted version. You can compile the app yourself and run your own sync server on your own hardware, completely for free.
